Two system base typologies are available to which it is possible
to combine with the different accessories.
- Satellite localizer:
control unit used for localization and logistics service of one
or more means (transport companies, rental, business fleets, etc.)
doesn't need modules (remote control handsets, etc.) because it is
always "activated" and therefore allows to interact via SMS and/or WEB
to receive and send information and commands.
Simple and rapid installation, ideal for 12V/24V vehicles, it requires
three main connections (+30 Positive, Negative, 31; +15 Ignition switched live)
as well as the possibility to connect a relay to carry out the engine
immobilisation by remote.
- Satellite alarm system:
control unit which beside to the localization and logistics allows to protect
the vehicle against doors, boot, bonnet opening, the start attempt and with
additional modules or sensors (by radio or wire) it is possible to dispose
of the passenger compartment volumetric protection.
For commercial means and construction machineries it is possible to protect
hatcbacks, boots and tows that with a (SMS) notification allow to forewarn
the owner or the operating ECU monitoring, in case of theft attempt.
Important
For the satellite system arming/disarming are available the proximity
remote control handset and the transponder beside to the possibility
to use the vehicle original remote control handset whih opens/closes
the doors by remote, both for vehicles with analogic technology (PLIP)
and digital technology (CAN BUS).
- Control unit or satellite system
It is a "box" of small dimensions which allows to be
"hidden" and fixed in points which are dificult to be reached inside the
passenger compartment or the vehicle boot.
- GPS Aerial
It can be placed inside the passenger compartment (under the
dashboard or under the rear window) facing the window towards the sky;
ensure that there are any metallic parts above the aerial, these ones
don't allow the GPS signals reception.
In particular cases as armoured
or lead-based (these elements make a shielding and thefore they obstruct
the sky visibility) it is possible to install the GPS aerial outside
from the passenger's compartment (inside mirrors or plastic bumpers).
Keep a minimum distance of 1 meter from other possible aerials
installed on the vehicle (GSM, CB, radio).
- GSM Aerial
Small dimensions and flat shape allows to be "hidden" inside
the pasenger compartment under the dashboard or behind the covering
near the windscreen; in particular cases in which the passengercompartment
doesn't allow the GSM reception (armoured vehicles) it is possible to install
it outside (behind the bumper or under the front windscreen plastic protection).
Even in this case keep a minimum distance of 1 meter from other possible aerials
installed on the vehicles (GSM, CB, radio).
- Status check LED
Besides to indicate the system status (ON/OFF) and so even a "deterrent"
function for further ill-intentioned, the LED allows to check the GSM range
and GSM range presence after 15 seconds after that the vehicle ignition key
is off (before it illumintes RED and then GREEN).
Because of its utility it is recommended to place it clearly visible from
the outside than from the driver's position. |
